Knipple, Valerie Diane, 79 of Johnstown, passed away April 2, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 29, 1939 in Johnstown. Daughter of John and Betty (Gibbons) Beatty. Preceded in death by parents, husband Ronald Knipple Sr. , son Blaze, grandson Matthew, and sister Joyce Deter. Survived by loving sons Ronald Knipple Jr ( Diane Olsavsky) and Danny Knipple ( Kimberly Wike) both of Johnstown , 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters Denise married to Ed Rummell - Johnstown, Darlene married to Bob Harbaugh - Lancaster, David Beatty married to Lou - Johnstown, Christy married to Rick Hershberger - Bedford, and Marsha and Liada Pudliner, numerous nieces and nephews, also beloved dog Rusty. Valerie worked as a supervisor at Laurel Technologies, she was a graduate of Johnstown High School, she loved to golf, travel and dining out. Valerie loved her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. " We love you Mom". Friends will be received 11 am to 1 pm Monday at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 pm. Private interment Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations directly to the family.

I will always remember Val as a very fun loving person who made work feel like a family event, she always made sure that I ate by bring me lunch to work from the country club. Val was always kind to me and I shall always think kindly of her. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.God bless

My sympathies to the family. I worked with Valerie at Laurel Technologies. I always admired Val for her dedication and hard work. It was a pleasure to work with her. Again, my condolences and I will keep the family in my prayers.

Ron, Danny & Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I'll miss not seeing you mom out in the yard and our chats when I would go for a walk. Know that she's now resting in peace with God.
