Shirley L. Rogers

Rogers, Shirley L. 96 of Johnstown passed away March 30, 2024 at home. Born August 11, 1927, in Johnstown daughter of Carl and Gertrude (Plack) Weaver. Preceded in death by parents, husband Lewis Rogers Jr. Brothers, Clair and Dean Weaver, sisters Lois Morgart and Jane Wilson, and great grandson Sebastian Fuska. Survived by children Dean (Tina) Rogers, and Donna Rogers. Grandchildren Kelly (Jason) Harrity, Aaron (Lisa) Fuska, Christopher (Sarah) Fuska, Lindsay (Richard) Bennett, Autumn Rogers and companion Dylan and Kristen Rogers. Also survived by sister, Maxine Berkebile. Shirley was 1945 graduate of Johnstown High School, a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren where she was active in the Food Pantry and teaching Sunday School. She worked for Riverside BiLo in the Deli department retiring in 1988. She and her family enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Camp Hartley in Bedford. Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends will be received Wednesday from 9am until time of service at 11am at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown.
