Gabriel – Donna J. 85 of Johnstown passed away March 30, 2024, at Maple Winds Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Portage. Born August 21,1938 daughter of Louis and Bertha (Burkett) Costo. Preceded in death by parents and sister Carol Deardorff. Survived by loving children, Beverly (Martin) Guizio, Bonnie (Dustin) Beck, and Vicki (Anthony) Naugle. Grandchildren, James “Bo” (Laura) Hagan Jr. Bryan Schmalz, Michelle (Shawn) Furfari, Amy Schmalz, Nicole Fenton, and Daniel (Mara) Fenton. Great – grandchildren Abrielle Furfari, Loghan Furfari, Caleb Fenton, Tucker Furfari, Emma Fenton, Camryn Hagan, Hadley Fenton. Also survived by Brother Richard Costo. Donna worked at Penn Traffic and tended bar at the Solomon Run Fireman’s Club and Essex House. She enjoyed reading especially mystery novels. She loved her family and her beloved dog Molly and cat Phoebe. Friends will be received Thursday 11 am until time of service at Noon and Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown. Pastor Chris Valente officiating. Interment Blough Mennonite Cemetery.
