Winona Jean Peterson

PETERSON - Winona Jean, 82, of Johnstown, died April 23, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 5, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of Paul and Lillian (Mauk) Dietz. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold Peterson; brother, Robert; and son-in-law, Donny Grasser. Survived by daughter, Carol Ann Grasser, and fiance, David Smith; grandson, Donald Grasser; and great-grandson, Coty Grasser. Winona enjoyed stock car racing, and was a loving mother and grandmother. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, Pastor Randy Bain, officiating. Private interment, Headrick's Cemetery
