Warren "Benn" Herr

HERR – Warren “Benn,” 68, Johnstown, went home to his Lord Nov. 11, 2015. Born June 7, 1947, in Johnstown, son of E. Ray and Melva J. (Griffith) Herr. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Barry. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, former Sara Lainey; daughter, Stephanie; and son, Benjamin, married to former Anne Henry; and favorite granddaughter, Gabrielle, all of Johnstown; brother, Kevin Herr, Virginia; nephews, Joshua and Samuel Herr; and niece, Alyssa Herr, Chicago, Ill. Benn was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. A 1965 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam War.
