Wallene Hersh

Wallene "Wally" McFeaters Hersh, 84, met her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on January 20, 2025. A resident at Heritage Senior Living in Johnstown, she was preceded in death by parents Wallace and Eleanor (Stephenson) McFeaters and friend & former husband Bob Hersh. Wallene was a 1960 graduate of Westmont-Upper Yoder High School. A member of the (former) Beulah U.M. Church, she sang in the choir and was a member of the Beulah-landers. Wallene loved animals, Camp Allegheny, Pepsi, and Merrilee's chocolate chip cookies!  She enjoyed adult coloring books, especially those of animals, and loved to laugh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wallene’s memory to Camp Allegheny, Stoystown, PA, or to an animal rescue/shelter of the donor’s choice. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery. A private memorial service will be held in the future.
