Tonikay Metzgar

Metzgar, Tonikay, 71 of Johnstown passed away December 1, 2021 at home. Born June 2, 1950 in Johnstown daughter of Anthony and Catherine (Curry) Sobal. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving husband of 51 years Dennis Metzgar and children Jeremiah (Tanya) Metzgar, Dennis Jr. (Caroline) Metzgar, Tonikay Metzgar and Nancy wife of Chris Melander. Grandchildren, Chelsey, Elijah, Jasmine, Abigail, Lynnette, Zahra, and Jeremiah Jr. Great - grandchildren, Isaiah, Emery and Grayson. Tonikay was a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, where she was involved in the Church School Guild, and she was also a member of St. Mary Greek Orthodox Church. She had a passion for photography and was a member of the Greater Johnstown Camera Club, and also enjoyed scrapbooking. Friends will be received Monday from 11am up until time of service at 1pm at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church. 111 Alberta Ave Johnstown PA 15905. Very Rev. Fr. Donald Shadid and Rev. Fr. Michael Rustick celebrants. Interment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church Special Project Fund or St. Mary Greek Orthodox Church.
