Theresa Mary Lonas

Lonas, Theresa Mary - 84, of Johnstown, passed away February 6, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 12, 1932, in Johnstown. Daughter of Miles H. and Nellie G. (Kauffman) Bumbarger. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest E. Lonas; infant brother, Miles Jr.; brother, Robert H. Bumbarger; sisters, Dorothy Moors, Martha G. Hirko, Irene, and Eileen. Survived by loving children, Robert, married to the former Judy Hotham, Davidsville; Deborah, married to Steve Horvath, Sidman; Judith, married to William Predko, North Fort Myers, FL; and Lisa Chapman and fiancé, Shawn Miller, Windber. Grandsons, Eric, Greg, Daniel, Jeremy, Matthew, Josh. Nine great-grandchildren. Sister, Donna Seese, Johnstown. Numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa was a member of the Salix United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Richland High School. She was the caregiver of her parents and husband, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Friends will be received Thursday from 10 a.m. up until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Salix United Methodist Church. Service will be officiated by Rev. Donald Poole.
