Stephen C. Novak

NOVAK – Stephen C., 100, Westmont, died April 12, 2014, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born Dec. 16, 1913, son of Andrew and Julia Novak. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth (Hesketh); brother, Albert; and sisters, Emma Boryk and Clara Miller.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews including, Nancy Tkac and Richard Boryk, and special friend, Theresa Novelli. A World War II veteran and Bethlehem Steel retiree. Steve was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, Father Mark S. Begly, officiating. Inurnment, Grandview Cemetery, with military honors by Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287 Marine Corps League. Arrangements entrusted to Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown.
