Shirley Mae Hoffman

Hoffman, Shirley Mae, 86 of Adams Twp. passed away November 12, 2021 at home. Born June 15, 1935 in Johnstown, daughter of William and Elsie (Pudliner) Wagner. Preceded in death by parents, brother Robert Wagner and great-grandson Logan Francis Teplitza. Survived by loving husband of 64 years Donald Hoffman whom she met in an elevator at Bethlehem Steel where they both worked, and these children, Curtis married to the former Sherri Carr, Cathi wife of Randy Hunter and Christopher married to the former Dee Allen. Grandchildren, Jeremy (Danielle) Teplitza, Brandi Teplitza, Brandon Hoffman, Shane Hoffman, Grace Edsall, Hope Edsall and Christopher "CJ" Hoffman. Great-grandchildren Nathan and Damien Teplitza. Also survived by sister-in-law Ruth Wagner. Shirley was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, graduate of Richland High School. She was the founder of Don-A-Shirl Pet Motel and had a strong passion and love for all animals. Friends will be received Thursday from 1:00pm up until the time of memorial service at 2:00pm at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Private interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SPCA or local Humane Society in memory of Shirley Mae Hoffman.
