Sarah N. Berkebile

Berkebile, Sarah N., 86, of Johnstown, passed away March 24, 2017, in Johnstown. Born March 20, 1931, in St. Michael, daughter of Alonzo and Doris (Lehman) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank Berkebile; daughter, Gail Ramsdorfer; and sister, Beatrice Dephane Bear. Survived by loving daughters, Deborah, married to Dave Thomas, and Pamela Berkebile, Johnstown; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Alonzo Johnson; and sisters, Doris Contrillo and Lila Weese. Sarah was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church for 70 years. She was a retired seamstress from Bali. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Pastor Randy Bain, officiating. Private interment, Dunmyer Lutheran Cemetery.
