Samuel E. Burkett Sr.

Samuel "Sam" Burkett age 86 from Johnstown PA departed this life on February 21st 2026 to join his wife and family whom passed on before him. He was the son of the late Celestine and Margaret (Boughamer) Burkett. Preceded in death by his wife Milford (Snoby) Burkett, daughter Brenda Locher, son Samuel Burkett Jr, great grandson Xander Allen, brother Ronald Burkett, sister Ann Hadarie, brother Eugene Burkett, brother William Burkett. Survived by daughter Suzan Burkett Virginia, son Andrew and Paige Burkett WV, daughter Kelly Rager Johnstown. Brothers Richard & Walter and Sister Isabelle Johnstown. He had 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren at the time of his passing. He will be greatly missed by all. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Family will have a gift of life ceremony at a later date.
