Obituary

Morris, Sampson, 83 of Johnstown passed away Sunday October 30, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 1, 1939, in Johnstown, son of Sampson and Catherine (Noll) Morris. Preceded in death by parents, son David Morris, infant daughter Kimberly Morris and grandson Cody Morris. Survived by loving wife, the former Sandra M. Weber and sons, Vincent (Mary) Morris and Matthew (Kelly) Morris. Grandchildren, Jason (Lisa) Morris, Jacob and Andrew Morris and great-grandson Michael Morris. Sampson was a member of Visitation BVM Catholic Church and served in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a salesman for Bucks Hobby Shop and was well known around the Johnstown area. Friends will be received Friday 10am until time of Memorial Mass at 11am at Visitation BVM Catholic Church Fr. John Slovikovski celebrant. Private interment Grandview Cemetery. Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown is honored to serve the family.
