Ruth H. Grumbling (Cox), born November 12, 1926, daughter of the late Samuel Ellsworth Cox and Ruth Helen (Wissinger) Ullery, was called home to be with the Lord November 11, 2019. Married to the late, Thomas Grumling, a Navy veteran of World War II, who proudly served aboard the carrier USS Bellewood and was retired from Bethlehem Steel. They had two beautiful children, Kathleen Sharon and the late, Thomas Grumling. Ruth was a proud member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, where she had maintained the longest church membership. In her day, you also may have seen her at Civic Club, Ladies Auxiliary, Bingo or lobbying for Kathy Holtzman; still finding time to help others any time she could. Ruth loved and believed in God's word and had an immovable faith. She loved and adored every member of her family. Her door was always open and there was room at her table for one more, often sharing her famous icebox cake. Survived by daughter, Kathleen Heinrich; Grandchildren, Melissa Round and husband Scott, Frank Shutz and wife Lori, Stacey Debevits, Tammi Muscatello, Kimberly Freed and husband Christopher, Tina Covet and husband Andre, Adam Grumling and fiancé Nicolle Komara, Atrail and Alisa Grumling; Great grandchildren: Ashleigh Regan, Ciarra Quesenberry and husband Joey; Kelsey Shedlock and husband Steven; David Debevits III and wife Jennifer; Gavin, Austin, and Ryan Muscatello; Kimberlyn McClead, Christopher McClead; Great-great grandchildren: Sienna and Karalyn Shedlock, Sophia McClean, Chase McClead, Arianna Mason; Melody, Atrail "AJ", Jr., Eric, Leyah, and Amelia Grumling; and twins Dylan and Thomas Charles Grumling II.
