McVicker, Rosemary A. , 93, of Johnstown, passed March 11, 2023. Born December 4, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Walter and Clara (Berg) Pankoke. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 72 years Earl D. McVicker whom she married December 10, 1950 and their greatly loved children, Elaine wife of David Poehner and Brad McVicker married to Josie. Adored grandchildren, Christi Polenik, Alyson wife of Ryan Bambling and Matt McVicker married to Deanna. God blessed her with six great - grandchildren, twins, Molli and Caci Polenik, Gracy and Oliver Bambling and Maddox and Mia McVicker. Rosemary was a 1948 graduate of Johnstown High School. A member of Anna L. Windolph #495 Order of Eastern Star. She was a former secretary for Electrolux Corporation, and member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church. Rosemary taught Sunday school for a number of years at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She and her husband were avid campers and cherished the many friends they made. She had a jovial personality good wit, and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles; but most importantly she was proud of her family, she was an exceptional cook and baker and memories of family dinners and gatherings will forever be remembered. Friends will be received Saturday March 18, 2023 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00pm at 2nd Presbyterian Church 565 Park Ave, Johnstown PA 15902. Pastor Art Moffat Jr. Officiating. Private committal Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Thomas Ellenberger for his care over the years, the staff at 9 Ashman and Good Samaritan Palliative Care.
