Robert "Rusty" Killinger

Killinger, Robert "Rusty" , 77 of Johnstown passed away May 7, 2018 at home. Born July 8, 1940 in Johnstown. Son of Francis and Ella (Steinhagen) Killinger. Preceded in death by parents, step daughter Tina Sowers, and brothers, William and Edwin Steinhagen. Survived by loving daughter Rebekah married to Jeremy Gehosky, grandchildren, Katlyn and Jeralynn, sister Shirley Statler, brother, Francis Kelly Killinger, stepchildren; Karen, Timothy and Kevin Botteicher, numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and former wife Ruth Killinger. Rusty worked for many years at Roxbury Tire. He enjoyed fishing, being around people, and was a gentle and kind soul. Friends will be received 4 pm to 7 pm Thursday at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown, where funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, Pastor Don Rough officiating. Private interment.
