Robert T. Hull, Jr

HULL – Robert T. Jr. “Doodles,” 88, Johnstown, passed away Feb. 9, 2015, at McCullough House. Born July 27, 1926, in Somerset, son of Robert T. Sr. and Josephine (Boyer) Hull. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances, who passed away April 23, 2012; and brother, Harold Hull. Survived by children, Beverly, married to Charles Benson, Johnstown; Nancy, married to Clifford Miller, Johnstown; Robert, married to the former Sharon Gallagher, Florida; William Hull, Florida; Sandy, married to Eric Owens, Florida; Linda, married to John Devich, Monroeville; Debora, married to Mark Bodnar, Maryland; and Richard, married to the former Andrea Couri, Johnstown. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Robert served in the U.S. Army, and was a carpenter for U.S. Steel. He enjoyed traveling, NASCAR racing, watching the Pirates and Penguins and taking walks. He was a loving husband father and grandfather who will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank McCullough House, Good Sam Palliative Care Unit, Medi-Home Hospice, Tony’s Subs and Dively’s. By request of the family, there will be no viewing. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Roxbury, Pastor Bruce Griffith and Pastor David Mcgee, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
