Richard T. Mowery

Mowery, Richard T., 67 of Westmont passed away December 25, 2020 at home after a brief battle with AML. Born July 1, 1953 in Johnstown. Son of Harry and Elizabeth (Lucas) Mowery. Preceded in death by his parents, brother James Mowery and sister Velma Mowery. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, the former Janice Glatz. Loving daughter Amy, wife of Jason Faichney and sister Barbara, wife of James Peterchak. Richard was a 1972 graduate of Vo - Tech. He worked in the steel industry including Bethlehem Steel until their closure in 1992, J- Pitt Steel, Gautier Mills, and retired from Latrobe Specialties in 2018. He enjoyed taking trips to visit his daughter in St. Louis Missouri, and had a passion for gardening, astronomy and hunting. By request services will be held at a later date.
