Cassick, Phyllis A. 72 of Johnstown passed away December 1, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born August 12, 1950 in Johnstown. Daughter of Jesse and Myrtle (Fiscus) Zabala. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Donald Fiscus, George Zabala, David Zabala and James Zabala. Sisters, Loretta Zabala, Hildegard Maurer, and Martha Canini. Survived by loving husband of 54 years Edward Cassick and children Michelle married to David Hoffman and Edward Cassick. Granddaughters, Shannon Hoffman and Edana Jean. Sister, Mary Cruse, and numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was employed by Blaine Boring, Glossers, and Bestform. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital. Also, Asera Care Hospice for their wonderful nurses, and care they gave to Phyllis. By Phyllis's request there will be no visitation or services.
