Nellie E. Roberts

ROBERTS – Nellie E., 75, Johnstown, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, at Allegheny Lutheran Home. Born Nov. 9, 1939, in Johnstown, daughter of William Irwin and Jennie (Pizer) Fisher. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John, who passed away in 2011; and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by children, John T. Roberts Jr., married to former Tammy Reed, Johnstown, and Lorrie, wife of Michael Brawley, Johnstown; grandchildren, Amber, wife of Alan Waters, and Evan and Luke Brawley; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Waters. Also survived by brother, Leroy; sisters, Sally and Mary Jane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was an avid bingo player and enjoyed house cleaning. Friends and family will be received at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, for a memorial service at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown.
