Nancy Bischof

Bischof, Nancy  - 86, of Johnstown passed away July 28, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 16, 1930 in Johnstown. Daughter of John and Melba (Strick) Sheldon. Preceded in death by husband Eugene Bischof, daughter Jacqueline Meekins, brothers, Jack, Louis, Richard Sheldon, sister Melba Vogel. Survived by loving son Robert Bischof married to the former Anita Cibrin, Johnstown, loving daughter Karen married to Frank Jones, Johnstown. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Son-in-law Wayne Meekins and wife Nancy, Windber. Brothers David Sheldon, New Hampshire, Donald Sheldon, Johnstown, Robert Sheldon, New Jersey. Sisters, Carol Lutz, New Alexandria, Sharon McCallay, Mineral Point. Nancy ran the Dale Vol. Fire Company Bingo. She was a member of the Dale Civic Club, and Dale Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown, where funeral service will be held 12 p.m., Monday. Interment Headrick Union Cemetery, Conemaugh.
