Michael E. Jedrzejek

JEDRZEJEK – Michael Edward, 83, Johnstown, passed away March 1, 2016, at home. Born Aug. 7, 1932, in Johnstown, son of Andrew and Amelia (Cerkofski) Jedrzejek. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Emily, Mary, Rose, Catherine and Josephine; and brothers, Steve, Andy and Joseph. Survived by son, Michael, married to the former Branda Wormuth; grandchildren, Allyson, Jeremy, Melissa, Michelle, Michael and Craig; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mason, Kaden, Declan, and Nadya. . Michael played the accordion button box in the Mike Jendricks Orchestra. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Car Shop with 33 years of service, and was a devoted father who loved his family. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, followed by funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Friday, Father Chuck Bridges, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
