Melba J. Lantzy

Lantzy, Melba J,, 79 of Richland passed away April 20, 2016 at home.  Born August 21, 1936 in Johnstown.  Daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Mishler-Spangler) Edwards.  Preceded in death by parents; second husband, John Lantzy; daughter, Mary Louise; brothers, Richard Parker, Darryl Edwards, Ken Edwards, and Bill Edwards; and  sister, Mert Schilcosky.  Survived by first husband, Walter Pritt; sons, Brian Pritt, Windber, Walter Pritt (Janet), Windber, Don Pritt (Lisa) ,Virginia, and Bruce Pritt, Windber; daughter, Judy, married to Tom Opdenhoff, Vinco; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother John Edwards, Mineral Point and sister Doris Fisher (Fred), Ogletown.  Melba was a retired secretary working at MHMR-Somerset.  She enjoyed puzzles, fishing, hunting, and all outdoor activities. She enjoyed her daily phone calls with her special friend Beverly.  Melba was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by her family.  At her request there will be no viewing, visitation or  funeral services.  Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, is serving the family
