Martha L. Canini

Canini, Martha L. 69, of Johnstown, passed away July 3, 2017 at home. Born December 13, 1947 in Johnstown, daughter of Jesse and Myrtle (Fiscus) Zabala. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Hildeguard Maurer and Loretta Zabala, brothers, Donald Fiscus, George, David and James Zabala. Survived by loving daughter and caregiver Mary Jo and wife Karen Canini and these children Joseph Canini III, Phyllis Canini and Marcy married to Richard Gregorchik. Grandchildren Nicholas and Tyler Gregorchik, Kaila, Kelsi and Devin DeMarco and Emma and Lauryn, Great grandson, Travis. Sisters Mary Cruse, and Phyllis married to Edward Cassick and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was a member of St. John Gualbert Catholic Church. She was employed by Glosser Brothers and Bestform. She enjoyed going to church, walking, shopping, watching TV, and spending time with her family. At Martha's request there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm Monday July 10, 2017 at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Fr. Clarence Bridges officiating.
