Marlene Kessler

Kessler, Marlene, 71 of Brownstown passed away September 7, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born September 10, 1949 in Johnstown, daughter of Cletus and Eleanor (Dupin) Petchar. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving husband of 41 years Gene Kessler and their loving children Michael Page married to the former Jodi Freeman, Drew Kessler and Theresa wife of Scott Mitchell. Grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Page and Madelyn Mitchell. Brother Anthony "Tony" Petchar and sister Cleta Kwiatkowski. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she worked for eleven years. She was formerly employed by Lee Hospital as an LPN, Ferndale Area School district cafeteria. She was an avid baker and cook, especially making her homemade chocolate. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and riding motorcycles. Marlene was often seen sitting on the back porch or pool with her ice tea. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Friends will be received Sunday 4pm up until time of Rosary at 7pm at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown Funeral Mass Monday 10:00am St. Michael Catholic Church Brownstown. Very Rev.
