Marion T. Yaple

Yaple, Marion T.,  100;  passed away August 16, 2018 at Arbutus Park Retirement Community.  Born January 26, 1918 in Aurora Illinois.  Daughter of George and Agnes (Peterson) Tuttle.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger A. Yaple and daughter, Sara "Sally" Shaulis.  Survived by loving children; Tzipporah "Molly" Weisman (Irving), Lakewood NJ, Martha "Marty" Janners, Geneva, Illinois, Ruth Reda, New Milford, CT, Daniel Yaple married to the former Cheryl Reed, Northumberland, PA, and son-in-law, John Shaulis, Berlin PA; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  Marion was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.  She was known for her birthday card ministry.  She was a schoolteacher in the Johnsonburg School District and volunteered at Arbutus Manor for many years.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm  and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown.  Funeral Service will be held at 11 am  Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, the Rev.
