Marcia Ann Schuerch

SCHUERCH – Marcia Ann, 53, Johnstown, died Thursday, May 1, 2014. at home. Born Nov. 4, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Leo A. Sr. and Benvenutta (Vogini) Barkley. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by children, Christine Schuerch, and companion, Danielle Collier, and Shanya Schuerch, and fiance, Bryan Ptomey; brother, Leo Barkley Jr., married to the former Dusty Wentz; sisters, Theresa, wife of Raymond Young, and Colleen, wife of Edward Handle; and grandchildren, Keshaun and Davar Ptomey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and boyfriend, Paul Rager. Marcia was an avid hockey fan and loving mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will follow at 6 p.m., the Rev. Robert M. Thacker, officiating. Private inurnment, Richland Cemetery.
