Lois Ann James

James, Lois Ann, 84, of Johnstown, passed away Monday April 29, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born April 21, 1940, in Johnstown, daughter of William Emery and Elizabeth Exie (Ruby) Geisel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert F. James; and brother, William Emery Geisel. Survived by loving children, Deborah (David) Campbell, Robert (Janeen) James, Elizabeth (James) Lorenzi and Michael (Christy) James. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Paula Lunt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was formerly employed by Sunnehanna Country Club and Joey Dels Catering. She enjoyed playing Bingo and dice with her neighbors. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
