Lois R. Hess

Hess, Lois, 91, of Geistown, passed away February 3, 2018 at home. Born January 17, 1927. Daughter of Clinton and Luella (Miller) McCreary. Preceded in death by parents, husband Floyd Hess, brother James McCreary, and sister-in-law Audrey McCreary. Survived by loving daughter Linda (Frank)  Kleinman, grandchildren Justin (Shannon) Dom, Tammy Boyer, Misty Wheeler (Mike Jardine), Jonathan (Sam) Hess, and John Wheeler. Seven great-grandchildren, brother Jack (Jewell) McCreary, numerous nieces, nephews and special caretakers, Jennifer Blair and Anna Mackel. Lois was a lifelong member of Beulah United Methodist Church, and retired from Prudential. Friends will be received 2 to 4p.m. and 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown, and from 10:00am up until the time of service at 11:00am Thursday at Beulah United Methodist Church, Pastor David Stains officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beulah United Methodist Church
