Lelah B. Wisor

Wisor, Lelah B., 81, Oakland, passed away November 26, 2016, at the Palliative Care Unit at Conemaugh Hospital. Born October 23, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of John Henry and Adda (Ryan) Jones. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 60 years, Robert Wisor Sr.; sisters, Gloria, Jean, Shirley Orosz, Elizabeth Jones; and brother, John Jones. Survived by loving children, Deborah, married to Robert Shingler, Geistown; Robert D. Wisor Jr., Oakland; Betty, married to Stanley Niton, Richland; and James Wisor, married to the former Christie Petroro, Johnstown; grandsons, Brandon and Eric Shingler; sister, Henrietta Keiper, Sidman; and several nieces and nephews. Lelah was a member of the Second Brethren Church, Moxham. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Her family always came first. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Benjamin Zylka, officiating. Private interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Second Brethren Church, Moxham.
