Laverne May Leverknight

Leverknight – Laverne May, 87 of Johnstown, passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 4, 1935 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, husband Dewaine Leverknight, daughter Kathy Deal, granddaughter Michele Lewis and grandson Bradley Sheeler. Survived by children Linda Sheeler, Sue Miller, Debbie Goldinger, Brenda Leverknight and Bo Leverknight. Also 12 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and four step- grandchildren and brother, Terry Horner. She was a member of Maple Springs Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed BINGO, crafting and watching Western movies. Her highlight in life included spending time with her family especially all her grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday June 5, 2023 from 3:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm at Geisel Funeral Home – Johnstown. Pastor Dale Leverknight officiating. Private interment Richland Cemetery.
