Larry Blackner

Blackner, Larry, 61, of Johnstown passed away June 4, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 4, 1958 in Johnstown. Son of Charles and Doris (Lohr) Blackner. Preceded in death by parents, brother David, and Uncle Jim Lohr. Survived by son Larry Jr., longtime girlfriend Sue Ann Ardary, and daughters Veronica and Violet Ardary. Grandchild Gavin Williams. Sister Darla (Joseph) Clites. Nieces Rebecca Clites, Jessica Blackner, Jennifer Blackner, and nephew Matthew Clites. Great-nieces Savannah Anderson, Cassie Michaels, and great-nephew Hayden Anderson. Uncle Gene (Sally) Blackner and Aunts Dorothy Conzo and Sharon Lohr. Larry served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years and was employed by the D. Edwards Leasing Company for 26 years. He enjoyed golfing at Berkley Hills Golf Course. Services will be private. Family is being served by Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
