Kathleen R. Caldon

CALDON – Kathleen R., 88, Johnstown, Feb. 9, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 19, 1927, in Manchester, N.H. Preceded in death by mother, Claire Jordan; husband, Rawson F. Caldon; and grandson, Brandon R. Carvalho. Survived by loving sons, Jeffrey Caldon, married to Ann; Mark Caldon; and Brian Caldon; loving daughter, Sharon, married to Michael Flynn; loving grandchildren, Melissa, Jordan, Mikal, Miranda Hamilton, Carly, Ashley and Jonathan; and loving great-grandchildren, Steven, and Eli Hamilton. Kathleen was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital and Mount St. Mary College schools of nursing. She was a public health graduate of Simmons College. She took graduate studies at the University of Iowa and UPJ. She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps during the Korean War. She was employed by Visiting Nurse Association in Manchaster, N.H. She was director of nursing at the Presbyterian Home in Johnstown from 1976 to 1992. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. At Kathleen’s request, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be held at a later date at Ladd Cemetery, North Haverhill, N.H.
