CATALFANO – Joseph Frank, 85, Johnstown, passed away Nov. 8, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 21, 1930, in Johnstown, son of John and Mary (DeFazio) Catalfano. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Diane Mayberry. Out of 21 brothers and sisters, numerous have passed. Survived by former wife, Nannette Regan; loving children, Cindy Brown, West Virginia; Sherri Catalfano, Walnut Grove; and Joseph Catalfano, Johnstown; grandchildren, Timmy Jo, Candice, Reno, Jimmy Brown, Jimmy Mayberry, Gabriel March, and Jennifer, married to Randy Wagner; great-grandson, Ryan Wagner; a brother, Charles Catalfano; and sisters, Theresa Balon, Mary Spadaro, Franny Shuster, Jennie Hatcher and Carmeline Wagner. Joseph worked as a chef at Ebensburg State School for over 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. He worked in Pittsburgh as a draftsman for over 10 years and he attended the University of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Stephen Durr, officiating. Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery, Richland.
