John Donald Wheeler

Wheeler- John Donald, 56 of Treasure Lake, Dubois passed away after a lengthy and courageous cancer battle April 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his beloved family. He passed peacefully and pain free watching the beautiful sunset on the woods and listening to classical music.  Exactly how he wanted it. John died exactly how he lived his life, low key and worrying about everyone else. John worked as a Senior Tax Advisor for H&R Block for many years. Doing taxes was just one of his many loves.  He was a lifelong learner holding 4 Bachelor Degrees and a Masters Degree.  He was an avid gardener and loved to be outdoors in all weather. Private viewing & funeral will be held at Geisel Funeral Home -Johnstown. Celebration of Life (Dubois) for all to attend announced later. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude’s. John was an adult who lived a blessed life experiencing many things, but no child should lose life to cancer.
