John M. Neary

Neary, John  M., 65 of Johnstown, passed away August 4, 2019 at home. Born January 12 1954 in Johnstown. Son of William and Izra (Wilson) Neary. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Sheila and Ruth Neary. Survived by daughter Amanda Neary married to Jeff Boarts, granddaughter Talon Boarts. Brothers William, Howard and Phillip Neary, sister Becky Bowser. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his three dogs, George, Sheila, and Ruth. John enjoyed reading, history, being with his dogs, and hiking. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who will be sadly missed. Friends will be received 4 pm until the time of service at 6 pm Thursday at Geisel Funeral Home- Johnstown. Private interment.
