John A. Martinelli

MARTINELLI – John A., 69, Upper Yoder, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1945, in Glendale, Calif., son of Angelo Joseph and Hazel (Kaufhold) Martinelli. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Camille (Benson); daughters, Angela and Dena; and sons-in-law, Wes McMichael and George Skiles. John graduated from UCLA with a BA in mathematics. He worked for the county of Los Angeles for 33 years and was instrumental in the implementation of welfare reform in the 1990s. John was a loving husband, father and friend who will be sadly missed. By request of the family, service will be private.
