John H. Hendrickson

“JJ” 63 of Geistown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family September 3, 2025. Born October 31, 1961 in Johnstown. Son of George and Lula (Hanna) Hendrickson. Preceded in death by parents and brothers; Charles and George Hendrickson. Survived by loving wife of over 40 years the former Rebecca Miller and their children Michael (Jodi) Hendrickson, Ashley (Umar) Abdul-Ghaffaar, and Matthew Hendrickson and Fiancé Erin Crawford. Grandchildren; Arriannah, Anaysa, Sa’Mir, Hayden, Matelyn, Luna, and anxiously expecting another. Also survived by sister Maxine Baughman and his beloved dog Max of 15 years. JJ was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral. He was a self-employed Truck Driver. He enjoyed listening to Country music, fishing, and was deeply devoted to his family. Friends will be received Monday from 4-6pm at Geisel Funeral Home – Johnstown, where a memorial service will be held at 6pm. A private interment will take place at a later date.
