John F. Furfari, Sr.

Furfari, John F. Sr. 75 of Johnstown, passed away November 17, 2021 at LaurelWood Amber Springs. Born October 17, 1946 in Johnstown son of Gaetano and Margaret (Pollino) Furfari. Preceded in death by parents, wife Connie and brother Joseph. Survived by loving children John married to the former Kristy Krouse, Shawn married to the former Michelle Leibfreid, Chad married to the former Pamela Matas, Jessica wife of Greg Costlow, and Kayla Furfari and fiancé Adam Blount. Grandchildren, Karielle, Karagin, Brayden, Mason, Laynie, Abrielle, Loghan, Tucker, James, Jayce and Dominick. Great - grandchildren, Kayonna, Kaysin and Kaydren. Also survived by brothers, Patsy, Pete, Tom, Dominick, Anthony, Frank and sister Mary. John worked at Johnstown America, he was an avid Beatles fan, and enjoyed dancing and ice skating. He also enjoyed taking family trips to Myrtle beach and watching Pittsburgh Sports. He cherished time with his grandchildren and was a loving father and brother. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Geisel Funeral Home- Johnstown. Funeral Service 11am Monday at Oakland United Methodist Church, Pastor Randy Bain Officiating. Private Interment.
