John Bako, III Obituary

Bako, John J. , III 72 of Johnstown, passed away January 21, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 8, 1949 in Johnstown son of John J. Jr., and Anna (Kula) Bako. Preceded in death by parents and sister Patsy Herman. Survived by loving wife of 18 years the former Donna Tiffany, sister Annette Powell and brother Ronald (Judy) Bako. Also survived by four children from Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a 1967 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a self-employed general contractor, enjoyed gardening, and an avid Greenbay Packer fan. He was also known for decorating the house for the holidays with his many decorations. He was a loving husband and friend. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Geisel Funeral Home is honored to serve the family
