Jilly Todaro

It is with solemn sadness that we remember the passing of Jilly Todaro, 43, on December 12, 2020. Born November 28, 1977 in Johnstown, Jilly was the oldest of 6 children born to Rodney and Lucinda (Mazzarese) Wagner. Preceded in death by her father Rod, and brother Joshua. Jilly is survived by her husband Joseph Todaro, mother Cindy Wagner, and sisters Stephanie, Trista, Amanda and Kelly. She is also survived by nephews and nieces Mya, Gregory Jr., Tyler, Desirae, Vanessa, Shyann, and Laykin.
Jilly was a kind, sweet, happy, innocent child with a loving disposition to go along with a tender heart. She loved her family and had a special bond with her sisters growing up. Jilly was a joyful, sociable and outgoing young person who was very open and accepting of other people. She graduated from Johnstown Vo-Tech in 1995 and loved attending school and interacting with friends. She had a strong interest in horticulture and loved plants and flowers. Jilly was a very independent person who was anxious to be on her own and see what the world had to offer. She longed to have children and was the proud mother of two beautiful girls from her first marriage. Due to no fault of her own Jilly faced a difficult adult life but was a very good person who lived life as best and she could with the skills and talents she had. Like many of us she longed to love and be loved and looked to find her place in this life.
Friends will be received Tuesday August 6, 2024 from 6-8pm at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Memorial Service will be held August 7, 2024 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church, Johnstown Pastor Hyiwot Teshome officiating. A private interment will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery.
