James H. McCarthy

McCARTHY –  James H., 64, Johnstown, passed away Jan. 10, 2015, at home. Born Oct. 4, 1950, in Somerset, son of Harold and Betty (Kemp) McCarthy. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ernest McCarthy.  Survived by wife, former Susan Hustak; children, James (Tracy) McCarthy, Susie (Ben) Moore and Robin Gartrell; grandchildren, Zachary Reese, Michael Hummel, Nathan Kuzminsky and Cassidy McCarthy; brothers, Donald “Greenie” (Shirley) McCarthy and Fred McCarthy; and sister, Janet (Leonard) Felosky. James was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed his social life, especially at Sue Bee’s. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
