Jacqueline "Jackie" Morrison-Bodenschatz

Morrison-Bodenschatz, Jacqueline  - Jackie" 88 of Johnstown passed away July 31, 2017 at home. Born May 15, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Oscar B. and Marjorie (Sipe) Adams. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, first husband Martin L. Bodenschatz, second husband Ralph W. Morrison Jr. M.D., grandson Anthony Stephen Peracchio. Survived by loving children Karen Bodenschatz married to James Martin, Johnstown, Janet Bodenschatz married to Fred Peracchio, Denver, PA, Scott Bodenschatz and fiance Kelly Skovensky-Smith, Johnstown and Philip Bodenschatz and partner Kristie Vyhonsky, Johnstown. Grandchildren, Richard Martin married to the former Suzanne Fish, Gibsonia, PA, April Peracchio and partner Chuck Willis, Stephanie Peracchio and wife Marjorie Vizethann, Dunedin, FL, Anita Peracchio wife of Josh Shoemaker, Mt Joy, PA, Zach Bodenschatz, Johnstown, Terry, Jorden, Ethan, Jayda and Audrianna Bodenschatz, Johnstown. Great grandchildren, Leah and Owen Martin, Anthony Peracchio, and Jiuliana Shoemaker, Also survived by half-brother Robert Alwine and sister-in-law Judith Weigle. Jackie was a lifelong member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like thank Windber Hospice nurses and aides, Ginger, Elaine, Theresa, Marie, Carol and Jamie, along with Dr. Kelly Warshel. Friends will be received 2-4pm and 6-8pm Thursday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown where funeral service will be held 11:00am Friday. Pastor Terry Knipple officiating, Interment Richland Cemetery.
