Jack Mazzarese

Mazzarese, Jack - 81, of Johnstown, passed away February 28, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 23, 1935 in Johnstown. Son of Anthony and Angeline (Ledico) Mazzarese. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Peter, John and Joseph Mazzarese, sisters Rosie, Lena and Annie. Survived by loving lifelong companion Judy Burkey, Johnstown. Loving Children Mark Mazzarese, Maryland, Jackie married to John Sweeney, Cresson, Angie, Ebensburg, Philip Mazzarese, Gallitzin, Lisa, Gallitzin. Numerous grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Stepchildren Richard Berkey and Stephanie Forster. Brother Angelo Mazzarese, Johnstown. Jack was a self employed plumber. He enjoyed camping, his family and was an avid Steeler fan. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received Saturday from 1 p.m. up until the time of memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown. Fr. Clarence Bridges officiating. Interment St. Anthony's Cemetery.
