Iris Lee Hladio

Hladio (Mottern)- Iris Lee, age 86, passed from her earthly body and entered into Eternal Life with our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ, July 13th, 2020 at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg, PA Iris was born March 26th, 1934 in Johnstown to Henry Ward and Ruth Hazel Mottern. Preceded in death by parents, brother Luther Blair Mottern, and granddaughter Julia Dawn Hartnett. Survived by daughters, Cindy (James) Hartnett-Johnstown, Jeanne (Gary) Graver-New Providence, PA, Peggy Sanford-Johnstown and Donna (William) Rito-St. Benedict, PA. Grandchildren-, Natalie Hartnett, Brandon Graver, Barry Graver, Tristan Sanford, Erica Gantt and Briana Sanford and 9 Great Grandchildren. Survived by brother, Quay Mottern, and sisters Carol Moore, and Debra Fabrizio. Iris loved her family and did everything to make their lives better in so many ways. Until recently, she never forgot a birthday or anniversary with a card or a phone call. She loved her black cats Humphrey and Rabbies and appreciated the river wildlife of ducks and muskrats on the Stoneycreek. She often thought about the good ole days in Punxsutawney with her Grandma Mottern and stories of the Ground Hog up on the knob. Friends will be received from 10 am up until the time of service at 12 pm Saturday July 18th, 2020 at Geisel Funeral Home-Johnstown. Interment Richland Cemetery
