Henry Hoppert Obituary

Hoppert, Henry Jay, 95 of Johnstown passed away April 25, 2020 at Villa Personal Care. Born January 11, 1925 in Berlin, son of Carl S and Phyllis (Custer) Hoppert. Preceded in death by parents, wife Edna, son Clyde Hoppert, and brother Robert Hoppert. Survived by daughter Sharon (Larry) Thomas. Grandchildren Alan (Bobbi) Thomas, J. J. (Marsha) Thomas, Kelly (Shawn) Hart, Sherri (Tom) Weichler, nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Brothers William (Judy) Hoppert and Fred (Phyllis) Hoppert, and sister Charlotte Miller. Henry was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Connumach Lions Club, and Retired Mens Club. He worked as a machinist for the U.S. Steel Company and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Personal Care and Interim Hospice. Services will be private. Private entombment Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements by Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown.
