Helen L. Baumgardner

BAUMGARDNER – Helen L., 82, Johnstown, passed away Nov. 18, 2015, at home. Born Aug. 14, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of James and Helen (Campbell) McGrath. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James R. Baumgardner Sr.; and infant son, Robert. Survived by these loving sons, William Baumgardner, married to former Barbara Rovida, Johnstown; David Baumgardner, Portage; and James Baumgardner Jr., married to former Pamela Krzysko, Johnstown; grandchildren, Jamie, Cameron, Logan, Sydney, Andrew, Kristie and Brady; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Zachrey and Faith. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Moxham. She retired from East Side Elementary School, where she worked many years as a lunch lady. She loved to spend time with grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Rev. Walter Moll, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
