WILSON – Harold Milton Jr., 82, Stonycreek Township, formerly of Dale Borough, passed away Dec. 18, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 30, 1932, in South Fork. Preceded in death by parents, Harold M. Wilson Sr. and Mary Simpson; daughter, Lauren; grandson, Michael Shank; sisters, Jane Bantly, Priscilla Cekhosky and Marlene Cathy; and brother, Lawrence Wilson. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, the former Mary Ann Popovich; sons, Jeffrey Wilson, married to the Tricia (Lamison), Johnstown; Randy Wilson, married to the former Maria Germana, Johnstown; and Todd Wilson, married to the former Carol Allison, South Carolina; grandchildren, Stephanie, and husband, Marcus Gatlin, Tennessee; Steven, Megan and Holly Wilson, all of Johnstown; and Rebecca Gary, Somerset; great-grandchildren, Gage and Grace Gatlin, Tennessee; Mark Wilson, and wife, Rebecca, Virginia; and Carol Shank, and husband, Greg, Greenville, Pa.; sisters, Alice, and her husband, Fred Nicholas, Omaha, Neb.; and Maxine Myers, Rock Springs, Wyo.; brother-in-law, Charles Cathy, Tennessee; and stepbrother, Kenneth Gibson, and wife, Clara Ann, Johnstown. Harold was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church. Past master in the year of 2000 of Masonic Lodge 538. Member of Jaffa Shrine-Altoona, Johnstown Shrine, Tall Cedars, Valley of Scottish Rites-Altoona, and served on the Temple board as a trustee. A graduate of California State Teachers College and had graduate courses at UPJ and State College. He retired from the Johnstown school system and was track and cross country coach for 20 years. He loved sports. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Jeffrey Popson, officiating.
