Goldie "Dolly" Jacobs

JACOBS – Goldie “Dolly,” 92, Johnstown, died Oct. 15, 2015, at UPMC Altoona. Born Dec. 4, 1922, in Alexandria, Va., daughter of John Hann and Nellie Hann Snyder-Weible. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul P. Sr.; and six brothers and sisters. Survived by these children, Fran, Johnstown; Paul Jr., Virginia; M. Bruce, Maryland; and Mary Lou Rosenbaum, Florida; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church, as well as a Sunday school teacher and devotional leader. Dolly was an avid reader, sometimes finishing a whole book in a few days. She enjoyed the ocean, painting, drawing, needlework and making fancy cookies for her family. Friends received from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Interment, Arlington National Cemetery at a later date
