SHERBINE - Gertrude E., 94, Windber, passed away Nov. 24, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born July 22, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Curtis and Emma (Spory) Keim. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Maurice W. Sherbine ; loving son, M. Wayne Sherbine; and loving brother, Robert P. Keim, and wife Helen. Survived by loving daughters, Patricia, married to William V. Drenner Sr., Hollsopple; and Emma Jean Shawley-Kagan, Florida; loving grandchildren, Mark W. Sherbine, and wife, Janine; and Matthew W. Sherbine, and wife, Karen, both of New Jersey; Cynthia Drenner, married to William Sullivan, Virginia; William Drenner Jr., married to Cherie, Jerome; Patricia J., married to Ken Montlick, Conneticut; Lisa D., married to Justin Peterson, Oregon; and Brenda L. Shawley-Ruckridge, married to Phil Ruckridge, California; loving great-grandchildren, William Sullivan IV; Carrie Sullivan; Michael and Matthew Sherbine; Kyle W. and Dylan R. Drenner; Devon, Madeline and Trey Lawson; and D'Jango and Jasmine Ruckridge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Moxham Church of the Brethren. She loved to knit, crochet and play pinochle. She was very active in the church in her earlier years. At Gertrude's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, the Rev.William Wenger, officiating.
